- Donated $70 to the Marmot
Foundation to help endangered Vancouver Island marmots
- Donated $95 to World Vision.
We bought 2 hens, a rooster and a piglet for a family for Christmas.
- Donated $25 to CODE for
literacy in lieu of year end medals
- With 3K, they raised $400 for
Playpumps International through a Bake Sale

through a face painting exercise
- Held a Reduce Reuse
Recycle poster contest, with reusable bags made from pop bottles as prizes
- Learned about single use
versus reusable bags in preparation for the Sept. 1 local bag ban

- Christmas Food Bank drive

for Santa's Anonymous
- Donated a decorated tree for
Festival of Trees. $2500 was raised for the Hospital Foundation
- Quilt made by Grade 2 & 3
French raised $240 for the Festival Of Trees

coordinated by Mrs. Fedoretz, Mrs. Tatartcheff and Mr. Hayward raised
$500. The funds bought 2 School-in-Boxes: 20 desks, 50 soccer balls and
supplied 100 classrooms with pencils.
- Hamburger Day raised $586 for
Juvenile Diabetes Research
- Food Bank Fun Fair raised $811 for the
Food Bank
- Haiti Earthquake: Thousands of
dollars raised throughout the district
- Kindergarten and Grade 3
French and English had people new to Canada talk about their countries
