We began our in class recycling program, for drinking containers. We bought 8 juice box tubs for classrooms with the proceeds.
We sent information home with every child teaching them about our new city recycling drop off bins, and with an opportunity for each family to give feedback to the mayor.
We sent 128 families’ requests for more and continued recycling to City Council
We gave rewards to children whose families participated in the city recycling program
For Anti-Racism Day on March 21, the club did their annual face painting simulation exercise, to see what it feels like to be a visible minority.
