The
Attack Of The Mutant Fly
by Riley
One day in Fort McMurray, Ralph was watching the news. The news reporter said, ''This is just in. A giant mutant fly is crushing houses. It just ate the library."
Ralph thought that the news reporter was lying. When he looked out the window he said, ''Awesome!'' Ralph saw the man-eating fly with wings the size of a school bus.
Ralph ran outside as fast as he could with an enormous fly swatter. He went to the humungous fly and gave it a swat. He missed the first time. The next time he hit the fly. The fly swatter broke.
Ralph ran to all his friends to help gather all the bug spray they could find. They sprayed for five minutes. The spray was not strong enough. After that he went to the pet store. He said, "May I have 100 frogs?" The frogs stuck their tongues out to catch the fly. They got stuck onto the fly. The fly stepped on them.
Ralph saw him sleeping. He said, "Be quiet," to his friends. He went to a hardware store and got lots of chains and ropes. He said to his friends, "Tie his legs and arms together. I'll tie his neck. Don't forget to tie his arms and legs together nice and tight." "Okay," said the two boys. Ralph sneezed and woke the giant fly.
The fly's spit fell out of its mouth when it opened its mouth, right on top of him and his friends. Right before they were about to get eaten, Ralph's sister came and sang a song to charm the evil man-eating beast. Ralph called the police. The police called an incredibly big crane. It took the enormous fly to the zoo. It took about an hour or so because there was an gigantic traffic jam.
Ralph got paid a lot of money for catching the giant fly. Since his sister and friends helped, he shared all of that money with them. When the fly was in the zoo, everything was normal again. Ralph learned to believe the news reporters when they say something crazy.
